What is freedom of speech to me?
March 31st, 2008 by hammond
What is freedom of speech? What does freedom mean to you? How does this relate to you as a blogger? Freedom of speech is defined under the first amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America. This proves tat all citizens (of the United States) have the right to say what they want to. Even though you can say whatever you want to, there are also consequences to doing this. For example, you cannot criticize a teacher at school. You can say whatever you want to say but you’ll get busted big time (which is the consequence). Consequences are basically determined by the location you are at. If you are at school, they are stricter then when you are hanging around with your friends on the street. In my point of view, I think that freedom of speech is a weird law. I think this because of what I said before. It is a law but when you follow it you can have major consequences. So, I still don’t know why it is an amendment since most of the time you do not have the right of total freedom of speech. In a blog you also have limits to your freedom of speech. I am not saying that this is bad but the people controlling the blog are just giving their website some rules so they can control it better and have people not spam their blog with junk or bad material that others may not want to see. After that, the blog does not want their rep to go down because of people saying bad things and using their freedom of speech with no consequences. So, this relates to me as a blogger because it is my duty to control my site and know that there are consequences for my actions (like getting banned from a blog site).

Accepted
March 24th, 2008 by hammond
This is an excellent movie which is about a kid called Bartlebee (some characters call him “B”) and his friends which didn’t get accepted into any college. So, since he is very good at using computers and technology he creates a acceptance letter to a college name he makes up. But, then certain problems begin to occur. For example, B’s parents wanting to drop him off to a college. So, the kids have to rent an abandoned medical center and create a college. After this, a lot of kids get accepted to the college because of the mediocre website the kids and B created to fool their parents. So, this becomes a wacky, hilarious movie which in the college finally gets accepted after presenting their case to a jury because the Harmon school wanted to take over the area and close the school so they could get more area and make a grand entrance to their good college and be just like Yale and Harvard. So, since this is such a funny and interesting movie to watch, I would rate it a 9.5/10 because some parts of the movie are a little boring but the hilarious parts fill in those spots to make the movie spectacular!

Kelme Chameleons
March 24th, 2008 by hammond
These are excellent soccer cleats which I use myself. The Chameleons are very comfortable since they have kangaroo leather. They also have a lot of good grip on their soul and change colors because of the reflection of the light on them. They cost about $80 dollars and are very good for their price since usually kangaroo leather cleats cost about more than $120. So, I think if I were to rate these cleats I’d say they are about a 10/10 for their excellent quality and price.
